Strategy mapping

Strategy Maps provide the cause-and-effect visual links behind an organisation's strategy. The strategy maps within Prodacapo Balanced Scorecard communicate how the strategy links together across the scorecard perspectives to achieve organisational success.

In addition to being a strategy model the Prodacapo Strategy Mapping facility also provides an internal communication tool helping employees to understand how they contribute to the organisation's strategic objectives.

Exception reporting

The cockpit view provides a basis for exception reporting. Users can structure the cockpit view in order to manage their critical measures. With time a scarce resource among many managers this view allows focus to be maintained on the fundamentally important measures to an individual person or department.

Dashboard View

A highly intuitive dashboard display offers a "clear-line-of-sight" between organisational objectives, critical success factors and the actual measures that need to be reported upon to manage these and ensure overall performance improvement and success.

The dashboard enables users to see at-a-glance how each measure within each critical success factor is performing and what the trend for that measure is over the time period under consideration. Users can also see which measures are linked to related action plans and can click through to view these in greater detail. The dashboard is one of the main advantages of the Balanced Scorecard approach in practice and also highlights where lower level scorecards can be viewed and click throughs can be followed to view data in more depth.

Dynamic reporting

Users of Prodacapo Balanced Scorecard can click through from the dashboard view onto any measures having initiatives to find and initiatives table. This highlights initiatives associated with key performance indicators and allows users to understand how these initiatives are performing.

Priority of initiatives is highlighted along with responsibility and status of the particular project. This helps the Prodacapo Balanced Scorecard to become a true performance management tool.
