Liverpool's Cardiothoracic Centre appoints Bellis-Jones Hill to implement Service Line Reporting

The Cardiothoracic Centre - Liverpool NHS Trust has appointed Bellis-Jones Hill's Healthcare Management Solutions practice to implement Service Line Reporting and Patient Level Costing. Formed in April 1991 as part of the first wave of NHS Trusts, the Trust has developed into one of the largest specialist heart and chest hospitals in the U.K. establishing itself along the way as a renowned provider of cardiothoracic services. Head of Bellis-Jones Hill's Healthcare practice, Robin Bellis-Jones comments "We're delighted to be appointed by the Cardiothoracic Centre. We're now working with eleven Trusts and have just started working with a Primary Care Trust so we're very pleased with the positive reaction from the Healthcare sector to our methodology and approach".

Milner joins Bellis-Jones Hill from Skipton Financial Services

Bellis-Jones Hill is pleased to announce the appointment of Neil Milner to our Consulting and Operations team. Milner joins from Skipton Financial Services after spells at Arcadia and Telewest. CEO Neena Vivash comments, "We had an excellent 2007 and needed to bolster our team in order to help manage some of the new clients we acquired, so having someone with Neil's costing and modelling experience is excellent news. We're hoping to announce further appointments soon".

Chelsea & Westminster and West Middlesex choose Bellis-Jones Hill for Qlikview

Following on from it's work in 2007 with Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust - or Addenbrooke's as they're more commonly known, Bellis-Jones Hill has been appointed by Chelsea & Westminster NHS Foundation Trust and West Middlesex NHS Trust to implement Qlikview as their reporting and analysis tool with particular emphasis on analysing information from their costing database.

First 2008 Balanced Scorecard Training event announced

Bellis-Jones Hill will be running Balanced Scorecard training sessions in London and provisional dates are Tuesday 15th April and Tuesday 3rd June 2008. Many organisations fail to deliver value from their Balanced Scorecard because having identified and measured critical success factors, they do not then go on to link the outcomes to actions. Entitled "Design and implementation - an introduction to the Balanced Scorecard", the one-day course costs £300 plus VAT and is designed to show how a Balanced Scorecard implementation project can become a genuine performance management tool.
